The Provincial Court of Alicante will judge this Wednesday, September 11, the administrator of a company in the municipality Alcoi Wall for an alleged crime against workers’ rights, for which the prosecution is provisionally requesting a four-year prison sentence and the payment of a fine.
According to the chargeThe defendant allegedly “employed seven foreign nationals without a contract, without a work permit and without registering them with Social Security.”
According to information on the case provided by the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, “the facts were discovered on February 2, 2023, during a labor inspection.”
On the other hand, the court of Alicante will host this Wednesday the trial of the administrator of a company in the municipality of Crevillent dedicated to the sale of photovoltaic thermal equipment for which the Public Prosecutor’s Office is provisionally requesting sentences totaling six years in prison for an alleged offence of fraud in real competition with an offence punishable by insolvency.
The prosecution claims in its indictment that the businessman failed to deliver in 2010 the goods that a German company had paid for in advance for an amount of 264,594 euros. According to the same sources, this debt was recognized in a civil court procedure a year later, but the court was only able to seize the current account of the condemned company, which had only 316 euros in balance. According to the prosecution, “the company ceased its activity at the end of 2010 without resorting to any bankruptcy or liquidation procedure and left all its creditors unpaid.”
