An ambulance ran over and killed a pedestrian in Baku.
Qafqazinfo reports that the incident occurred on August 29 at 12:30 p.m.
The driver of the emergency medical station, Sultan Sultanov, was driving an IVECO vehicle owned by the same station due to a traffic fine and inadvertently hit a pedestrian, Shahverdi Agaverdi oglu Malikov, born in 1950, who was crossing the road from the right to the left. As a result, the latter died on the spot from his injuries.
The Sabunchu District Police Department has opened a criminal case under Article 263.2 of the Criminal Code and is conducting an investigation.
