An ambulance heading to a call met with an accident in Lankaran.
According to APA, the incident occurred in the afternoon, on the old Alat-Astara highway, in the area of the Garmatuk settlement in the Lankaran region.
Thus, there was a call from Ashagi Nuvadi village of the district. The emergency and urgent medical assistance brigade from the village of Shürük, which is located near the area, went to that address.
A “Mercedes-Benz” passenger car collided with the medical assistance vehicle while it was moving in the area of the village of Garmatuk.
As a result of the accident, the ambulance nurse and doctor were injured and hospitalized in the Emergency Department of Lankaran District Central Hospital. First aid was provided to the injured.
It should be noted that two days ago an ambulance transporting a patient from Astara to Lankaran met with an accident in Lankaran.
The incident is being investigated.
