A suspect in a shooting that left one person dead during a street incident in the city of Marks, Saratov region, Russia, has been detained and the second person has been hospitalized.

“During a series of operational and search measures, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Saratov Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with their colleagues from Marks, with the strong support of employees of the Agile Response Special The Russian Guard detained a man born in 1983,” the information reads.

According to the “Baza” channel “Telegram”, the detained Rubik Akopyan is the owner of the car that escaped from the crime scene. That person was arrested in his apartment. He is said to be a businessman.

The Marks shooting took place on the afternoon of November 24. Two people in an Oka overtook a black Land Cruiser, but it overtook them and an argument broke out between the drivers, which led to a shootout. The 32-year-old mechanic died instantly and his 48-year-old friend was hospitalized. The driver of the truck fled.

The Investigative Commission opened a criminal case against two people for murder and attempted murder.
