According to the facts, a criminal case was initiated in the Shamkir Military Prosecutor’s Office under Article 120.1 (Intentional homicide) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, witnesses were questioned, a number of experts were appointed, executions were ordered and necessary urgent investigations were carried out. Investigative actions were carried out.
The investigation is currently underway and all measures will be taken in accordance with the requirements of the law, including a legal assessment of each act and fact. May God have mercy on our soldier,” the statement said.
