70 kilograms of gold were seized during the search of a taxi parked in front of the “Vadistanbul” shopping center in the Sariyer district of Istanbul, Türkiye.

It is noted that the Azerbaijani citizen MSG was in the taxi. He stated that the gold belonged to him and that he was also a diplomat. However, police officers ignored the suspect’s statement and arrested him.
The Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office announced that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and it is being investigated whether the suspect has diplomatic immunity.
