A seismic event was recorded in the Slyudyansky district of the Republic of Buryatia. This was reported on November 16 by the Baikal branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN).
The intensity of the earthquake, which occurred 32 km from the town of Vydrino at 04:43 Moscow time, was 5.3 points at the epicenter. According to seismologists, the intensity of the tremors was observed in the cities of Baikalsk, Irkutsk, Slyudyanka and Shelekhov and amounted to 3 points.
There were no destructions or victims.
