A magnitude 6.3 earthquake was recorded off the coast of the Japanese archipelago of Kazan, located approximately 1.2 thousand kilometers south of Tokyo. The country’s main meteorological agency reported this on November 7.
It should be noted that the earthquake occurred at 07:55 local time (01:55 Moscow time).
The origin of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located off the coast of the island of Io.
