So far this year, Audi has recorded nearly 20 units of its models equipped with 100% electric motors, the e-tron GT being the best-seller with 9 units sold until September, followed by RS e-tron GT and e-tron, with 5 and 4 sales respectively.
Figures that coincide with the average of the Spanish market, which does not occupy more than 6% of total registrations. This slowdown in the transition from thermal engines to electric engines is due to the lack of incentives from the Government, the lack of charging stations and the high price of these technologies at dealers.
OKDIARIO traveled to Vigo to see first-hand the characteristics offered by the range of mid-size electric SUVs of the brand with the four rings and which, on a route of approximately 200 kilometers with mountain roads, highways and urban routes, has proven that enjoying electric driving is possible without compromising dynamism and functionality.
Interior design: luxury and habitability
Thanks to this new electric platform, the Audi Q6 e-tron has a generous feeling of space and habitabilityas well as a high level of versatility. The interior offers plenty of storage space and a multitude of storage compartments. In the center console there are two cup holders, a wireless charger for mobile phones and a storage compartment under the central armrest with a capacity of more than five liters. Under the front hood, other items can be stored in a trunk with 64 additional liters; A practical place to store, for example, small travel bags or other valuable items.
The interior aesthetic of the Audi Q6 e-tron retains the essence of the German firm which is distinguished by the quality of finishes, comfort behind the wheel and habitability – a characteristic that is repeated throughout the SUV range. All this in combination with the Audi MMI panoramic screen and MMI passenger displaywith which it creates a clearly identifiable digital scenario thanks to its large screen.
High quality colors and materials, some made from recycled materials, are found in the sports seats with contrast stitching which is also optionally available in Elastic Melange fabric, covered in Dinamica microfiber – look and feel similar to suede – or, optionally, in fine Nappa leather with diamond stitching.
