National Police Agents 12 people were arrested in eight Spanish provinces as allegedly responsible for the production and distribution of child pornography on the Internet. Specifically, those arrested come from the Andalusian provinces of Cádiz, Malaga and Seville, as well as Murcia, Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona and La Coruña.
In a note, the National Police indicated that the main investigated is an English teacher from the city of Algeciras, in Cádiz, accused of having allegedly recorded his minor students with a hidden camera during lessons, in addition to having registered his two minor children. while they played naked at home.
The investigation began as part of the preventive cyber patrol work that agents usually carry out to combat the dissemination of archived material from child sexual abuse across the web.
The difficulty of the investigation was to achieve a complete identification of certain users, due to the identity concealment techniques which they used to obtain as much child pornography as possible without being detected or located.
During the search of the main suspect’s home, officers located dozens of videos focused on their students’ most intimate areas which he allegedly recorded using a hidden camera. Furthermore, among the victims of the arrested man are his two children, whom he filmed on several occasions while they were playing naked at his home.
However, following the searches carried out, 18 hard drives, four computers, 18 mobile phones, 25 USB keys, three tablets, two cameras and 164 CDs/DVDs were seized.
The National Police reminded Internet users and all social networks of the importance of Do not share or store these types of images of minors, since they would be committing a crime.
