An experienced sailor who received the “Progress” medal died

Ajdar Ismayilov, an experienced sailor and captain of long-distance voyages, has died.

Oku.Az informs that the joint stock company “Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping” has published information in this regard.

A. Ismayilov graduated from the Baku Maritime School named after Gafur Mammadov. He completed the four-year educational institution in just two years thanks to his knowledge and skills.

He stood out among his peers in his career. After completing his studies, he was assigned to the Caspian Sea Shipping Company of Azerbaijan. His working life, which began in March 1966, continued until 2013.

His first position was that of III assistant to the captain. After 1974, he advanced more quickly through the job ranks. He was promoted to the position of assistant captain II, chief assistant and finally captain.

He worked on most of the ships and plants of the Caspian Sea shipping of Azerbaijan.

President Ajdar Ismayilov awarded several decrees for his services in the field of maritime transport Ilham Aliyev He also received the “Progress” medal by order.
