Major changes have been made to the Azerbaijani army.
According to information obtained by News24.az, Colonel Oruj Abdullayev, head of the regional military unit of the Azerbaijan Land Forces, also called 3rd Army Corps – Shamkir Corps, has been relieved of his position.
He was replaced in this position by Major General of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, Commander of the 1st Army Corps, Bilal Chompuzov.
At the same time, Major General Munasib Babayev, commander of the Lachin Corps of the Azerbaijan Army, was also relieved of his duties.
