These double standards are also manifested in the activities of some political leaders and sub-institutions of the European Union (EU). Not a good example for Brussels

But unfortunately some people are partisan in Brussels, at the EU headquarters. This is an unproductive position, it only creates mistrust and isolates the European Union from the normalization process: “If possible, I would recommend that the European Union and Azerbaijan do not follow the path of France in the interest of continuing cooperation, and “They should not get under the influence of France. “The policy regarding the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been a destructive policy and continues to be so.”
As can be seen from the President’s statement, official Baku knows well who or what state is the main source of anti-Azerbaijani activity within the EU. French and pseudo-French
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is an alternative source of energy for the EU in the context of the cataclysms taking place in the world. It is also the key to the corridor that runs from West to East. For this reason, Azerbaijan is considered a strategic and reliable partner in Brussels. A strategic partnership agreement was even signed in the field of energy. However, what we observe today does not conform to the obligations arising from the strategic partnership on behalf of the EU. As they say, everything is beautiful only in words. First of all, France, pseudo-French countries such as the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the European Parliament do not go a month without adopting an anti-Azerbaijani resolution, holding debates and questioning the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan recognized by the world. community.
An important point that Brussels must consider
However, official Baku maintains its political composure, which it demonstrated during the 30 years of occupation, as well as during the Patriotic War and subsequent processes. Adopting a results-oriented approach in every situation, it prioritizes its national interests and pursues its independent policy. Azerbaijan knows very well that the EU is not just France, Luxembourg or the Netherlands. It is no coincidence that strategic partnership agreements were signed separately between Baku and the main EU members. Although the French factor in bilateral relations with Brussels is nauseating, it is not capable of more than that. As stated by President Ilham Aliyev, cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union has a broad agenda and covers the fields of energy, transport, green energy and trade. The EU is Azerbaijan’s main trading partner. But there is a very important point that Brussels must take into account. The President of Azerbaijan brought this to the attention of the other party.
