An increase in the Western military budget may cause the destruction of NATO

Moscow – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that the increase in military spending by NATO members is at risk of the breakdown of a military unit. This became the threat of NATO in the future.

NATO leaders who gathered in the Hague at a two-day peak meeting surrendered to the requirements of US President Donald Trump, who visited, agreed on Wednesday to increase military spending by 5 percent of GDP member countries.

Western countries claim that an increase in military spending is aimed at preventing threats caused by Russia for these countries.

On Monday, Lavrov said that Moscow plans to reduce its defense budget, but he thought that the joint agreement of NATO members on an increase in their military budget would only damage the alliance and ultimately lead to their collapse.
