According to reports, the sheep that left the flock got lost and was attacked by stray dogs. The frightened sheep fell into the Çekerek dam. At that time, fishermen named Ahmet İnan, Yasin Şahan and Mehmet Kalın, who were fishing in the area, saw a sheep swimming in the middle of the dam and immediately rescued it.
The fishermen returned the rescued sheep to its owner.
