A new episode of “Return to the Village” has been released.

In this edition of the program, a trip was made to the Khizi region.

51.4 percent of the 15,598 inhabitants of the Khizi region live in cities and 48.6 percent live in villages. In the program, the residents of Khizi spoke about the problems that concern them. So, according to residents, although there is a lot of work in the region, the salary is low:

“We have greenhouses and factories. A city is being built with 48 buildings and between 700 and 800 people work there. But come and see that the salary is low, what is 350 manats?!”

Residents of the Altyağac settlement in the region also complain about the lack of a pharmacy and ATM in their area.

“We have pensioners and patients. People cannot receive their pensions because there are no ATMs in the settlement. To withdraw money we have to go to the district center, it is difficult to go there in winter,” said a resident of the settlement. .

One of the most famous historical symbols of the region is the church bell of the 17th-18th centuries, which was installed in the Khizin settlement in Altyagac. This bell is rung to alert the population during emergencies. The village resident said that some visitors to the city disturb people by ringing the bell without permission.
