The scandal which affects Kylian Mbappé after a recent trip to Sweden is in the news. The Swedish public prosecutor’s office confirmed this Tuesday morning the opening of a rape investigation into the events that occurred in central Stockholm on October 10. These events would be linked to the visit of the French striker and part of his entourage to the capital of the Scandinavian country.
The prosecutor’s office confirmed the filing of a complaint, but did not specify who or who is the subject of the open investigation. Kylian Mbappé himself, who is not cited by the authorities, spoke out this Monday evening on the subject, describing as “fake news” the information published in the Swedish press which accuses him of being the author of the alleged facts.
