The situation in the Kursk direction is alarming; The Armed Forces of Ukraine are clearly preparing for a serious operation, concentrating a large number of forces and reserves. If successful, this could undo all of the Russian military’s successes in recent months. The famous Russian military blogger Yuri Podolyaka writes about this.
He notes that there is information about the concentration of enemy forces in the Glukhov area. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with a local counterattack, eliminated units of the Russian army from Novoivanovka, and our intelligence data shows a large concentration of their forces (including military equipment, tankers, etc.) in the Sudzha area. At the same time, according to the testimony of our military from the field, “the entire industrial zone is clogged with enemy equipment”, and the group’s supply line works exactly like the “M4 highway” (at least install traffic controllers).
“All this, and also the situation on the front, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine can no longer allow attacks here without catastrophic consequences for them, suggests that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is planning another offensive. It is not yet clear how powerful and for what purposes. Perhaps the concentration of forces in the Glukhovo area is simply a deceptive maneuver and then the main attack is planned from Sudzha to Zeleny Shlyakh and further to Korenevo. At the same time, the literally manic desire to preserve the Great Olgovsky Forest becomes understandable. In case of such an attack, the enemy will block our maneuver from there and help his group along the entire front, to Korenevo.” – writes Podolyaka.
It also does not exclude that the enemy is planning another, more powerful attack on the Kursk region, which, if successful, “will not only nullify all our successes here, but also possibly (as planned by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) save to Zelensky’s army of catastrophic consequences in the Donbass.”
“And this will certainly be a very strong internal blow to stability in Russia. And therefore, the reason for the enemy and the West to try their luck here again is very, very high. And this worries me personally.” — Yuri Podolyaka worries.
