An RN deputy used her parliamentary envelope for very personal expenses

The organisers of the back-to-school seminar for National Rally (RN) deputies on 14 and 15 September in Paris have added a short module to the weekend programme: it concerns the use of their advance mandate fees (AFM). According to the research site, the 69-year-old elected MP, who has been in office since June 2022, spent more than 10,000 euros of public money on personal expenses in two years. For the following reasons: expenses for the care of his two dogs, a monthly subscription to a dating site and funeral expenses. Expenses that he claims to have reimbursed to the National Assembly, after having been reported by a former member of his parliamentary team to the administrative services of the Bourbon Palace.

“It is not profitable at all”
