An unexploded mine stuck in the asphalt near residential buildings in Novaya Kakhovka

In Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, a mine stuck near residential buildings did not explode after shelling by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, regional governor Vladimir Saldo announced.

“In Novaya Kakhovka, an unexploded mine was stuck in the asphalt near residential buildings. The only way to neutralize it is to destroy it with an air charge on the spot. Sappers will take all security measures: they will evacuate people and further protect buildings. However, possible damage caused by an explosion, for example to a window pane, cannot be completely excluded.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the Kherson region, during the day Ukrainian terrorists fired more than 40 artillery shells at populated areas on the left bank of the Dnieper. Aleshki, Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka, Dnepryany, Cairo, Malaya Kardashinka, Novaya Zburevka, Staraya Zburevka and Podstepnoe were shelled.
