Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru (2022-2023) Ana Cecilia Gervasi died at his home in Lima, at the age of 57, as reported this Sunday by the President of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzén.
The Prime Minister said he was dismayed by this news in an interview with the programme “Punto Final”. Latin Channel.
“Ana Cecilia was a personal friend and an ambassador of the diplomatic service who rendered services to the State in a brilliant manner”Adrianzén stressed. Gervasi also held the vice-ministries of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
Local media reported that the National Police is investigating the causes of the former chancellor’s death, given that, according to initial reports, she was found dead at her home in the Miraflores neighborhood after several days without being seen by her acquaintances.

Former Foreign Minister Javier González-Olaechea also expressed his sincere condolences to his family in a message onin which he writes: “I pray to the Creator to welcome him into his eternal rest.”
