In fact, emergency services responded to 240 incidents throughout Andalusia, from Monday 9:00 p.m. until the early hours of this Tuesday. The province of Almería – and in particular the municipality of El Ejido – was the most affected, with almost half of the recorded incidents (111) due to flooding of basements, garages and ground floors. pavement. The provinces of Málaga (73) and Granada (48) and more particularly Jaén followed with incidents.

As detailed by 112 in a statement, the notices primarily referred to flooding of houses, cellars, basements, garages, as well as collapses and falling branches and trees and moving street furniture, as well as requests for assistance due to stranded vehicles and traffic incidents due to puddles on the road.
