According to data extracted from the monthly report of the Comprehensive system for monitoring cases of gender violence, VioGén system, Compared to the month of September, the number of active restraint bracelets in Andalusia increased by 10% in the month of September compared to 2023, reaching 1,710 devices imposed by gender violence courts for compliance with protection orders and prohibition.

This figure, which represents 35.78% of the national total and 158 more than the same month of 2023, where 1,552 were reached, shows that the implementation of this type of devices continues to be fully consolidated, with figures well above the national average. , since the rate per million women aged 15 or over in Andalusia is 455.7, more than double the national average established in 223.9.

At the end of September, 26,049 cases remained active in the Viogén system in Andalusia, to which must be added 164,837 cases deactivated since 2007. The VioGén system, launched by the Secretary of State for Security of the Ministry of the Interior in Since 2007, it centralizes and manages all information resulting from complaints filed for cases of gender violence with the Security Forces and Organs of the State. both the National Police and the Civil Guard, and also includes some local police forces of municipalities that have signed collaboration agreements with the Ministry of the Interior.
