DANA hit the province of Cádiz particularly hard, specifically the municipality of Jerez de la Frontera and its surroundings, which in two hours received 57 liters per square meter, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The city is on red alert until midnight due to forecast rainfall of up to 120 liters in 12 hours. President Moreno, along with the Jerez City Council, insisted that citizens “exercise caution”.

The rains flooded houses, basements, establishments and caused puddles in the streets, forcing traffic to be interrupted. Until one in the afternoon, 145 incidents had been recorded in the province of Cádiz, the majority in Jerez, but also in Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

The storm that has hit the Andalusian Autonomous Community since last Monday leaves 927 incidents reported for the moment, after adding 57 in the early morning of Wednesday October 30.
