Another airline suspends flights to Israel

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the temporary suspension of all flights to and from Tel Aviv until January 14, 2025.

This was reported by The Times Of Israel.

This decision comes in the context of the current unstable situation in the region, which makes safe flights difficult. Wizz Air has become the latest airline to limit its operations in Israel due to escalating tensions.

However, today it became known that two airlines are returning with flights from Israel.

Cypriot airline Tus Airways has announced a significant expansion of routes from Tel Aviv. Starting today, a new daily flight to Budapest will begin operating, and will also fly to Sofia and Vienna three times a week. In addition, two daily flights are added to Athens and Crete, as well as a third additional flight to Larnaca.

At this time, in the midst of massive cancellations of flights by other airlines to Israel, the Uzbek airline Centrum Air enters the market. This month it will begin operating two weekly flights from Tel Aviv to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Previously, Kursor reported that a flight to Israel for $60 turned out to be an unexpected discovery for passengers.

The passengers bought tickets to Israel for $60 and found the plane almost empty.
