Myanmar wants to become an observer country in the BRICS.
Oku.Az According to TASS, the country’s Information Minister Maung Maun announced this.
Maun also spoke about relations with Russia. He noted that diplomatic cooperation between the two countries has been developing for 76 years. This indicates that the states are moving in the same direction.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin and our leader have similar views, so the development of the partnership will continue,” he added.
It should be noted that Putin recently said that 34 countries want to join BRICS.
