“Today is World Climate Finance Day. Therefore, we call on leaders to allocate funds for the loss and destruction seen in countries around the world. I myself come from a country that is suffering from climate change, facing to floods and droughts. In 2023-2024 we have experienced the worst drought in the last 40 years. I mean, as a result of all these floods and other problems, the climate has seriously damaged people’s lives and we have to do something about it. leaders through COP29 and I want to tell you not to ignore this situation that people like me are in,” he said.
