Can we today be a complete, professional, sought-after, useful, ambitious journalist – one who aspires to publish what “deserves to be” – if it is not multimedia and if we do not know how to use all the tools within your reach?
The answer is NO. It is for this reason that the Master in Journalism from EL ESPAÑOL and Camilo José University included in its first edition, which began in October 2023, a module of more than 100 hours dedicated to Multimedia journalism. And, in its second edition, which will begin next October, new content has been included to train and transform young journalists into full-fledged multimedia professionals.
If a young journalist is looking for a job via Google, the vast majority of job offers will have a first and last name as essential requirements: be digital and be multimedia. Being fully prepared as a multimedia journalist is the surest way to be sought after in newsrooms of a different nature.
In this new course, Module 3, dedicated to Multimedia journalismwill be reinforced with even more practical content than the previous year. Of course, without neglecting the cornerstone on which quality journalism has always been based: correct and orderly writing, whether it is read, listened to or seen and heard at the same time.

During the sessions on the UCJC campus, located on Juan Hurtado Street in Mendoza, on the corner of Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, future professional journalists will perfect not only their recording technique, “but also rapid Capcut editing (one of the fundamental applications for vertical video), with the aim of producing agile content suitable for platforms like Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube Shorts,” Vidal highlighted.
