Today at 20:28, a middle-aged man suddenly stood in the way of the fast passenger train travelling in the direction of Aghstafa-Baku while it was travelling in the Yevlakh area.
The “Report” reports that Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) has published information on this matter.
It was reported that although the driver made an emergency stop, the accident was unavoidable due to the short distance:
“Unfortunately, we observed that although the station employees immediately called an emergency medical team to the scene, the person died from serious injuries.”
It is worth noting that today a high-speed train travelling in the Baku-Pirshagi-Sumgait direction suddenly ran over a woman who stepped onto the track.
