Lorenza Elena Chibrian Puentes demanded to find out whether the remains were really delivered by the funeral divine lures by her husband Raul Rodriguez Irneros, who died on February 5 last year.

“You feel pain (…), because when we gave us the ash box, because we really don’t know if he is or not,” he said and said that his daughter is already communicating with the authorities, but they still have not received a clear answer.

Josephine Nunez, Melis’s mother Angelica Williac Nunez, who died in 2020, shared that she still retains doubts about whether the ashes that they gave her really.

“I came to ask if we could look for her here because I had many doubts since we took her to burn this part. It was in 2020, and (…) it was very strange, ”he said.

Nunez hired the funeral services of Prote Deco, which, in turn, moved the body to the crematorium, which is now closed.

“And there I saw her, but from there they no longer allowed me to follow her or see, and they told me not that they were going to burn her later, but that she was there,” he said.

Mother remembers that 15 days have passed since she left her daughter in this place, until they gave her urn.

“As his mother, I feel with the feelings that are, how to revive a duel and, above all, courage, sadness, that is, all together,” he said and complained that as a relative, “that he wants the most is that they give him worthy treatment, and not worse than the animal.”

For his part, Sylvia Mendes, the director of the North Paso -Direct Center for Law, demanded justice for injured families and a thorough investigation to detect bodies in Sudad Huarez.

“We want to express our solidarity with families who live today, that uncertainty does not know whether the remains of their relatives are cremated, and the received ash that they received really corresponds to their relative,” he said.

The activist questioned the lack of institutional observation “in the state with the crisis of the trial and thousands of people who are not located.”

“We are deeply concerned that, despite the magnitude of the case, the general prosecutor of Chihuahua said that it is unlikely that the bodies could not miss,” he warned.

“We demand that all lines of research end,” he added.

He also emphasized that these 383 people have an identity that should be restored if their families are not auditable.

He added that the location of the remains should be carried out only with consent and informed knowledge about families, and warned that these unregulated places open the door to become possible tools for the disappearance of people.

Mendes emphasized that Huarez is the city of Chihuahua with a large number of missing persons, and about 1300 cases out of 4 thousand were reported throughout the state.
