Applications for the position of deputy librarian at Madrid City Hall: conditions, dates and exams

He Official State Gazette publishes the call for oppositions, in free rotation, by which the Madrid City Council intends to fill 77 positions Assistant library technician of the consistory. Among the places called, they will be reserved 10 for disabled people.

What requirements do you need to meet to become a library assistant in Madrid?

Candidates participating in this call must prove Spanish nationality or that of a Member State of the European Union; be over 16 years old and not above retirement age; possess the functional capacity to perform the tasks required for the position; not have been removed from the exercise of any administration by a final conviction for any crime against sexual freedom and compensation and possess the Baccalaureate, Technician or equivalent.

Likewise, people who request the disability quota must provide proof of Rating of 33%.

When can I submit my application? How can I do it?

The registration period begins on the day October 4 and ends on the 31st of the same month.

Applications must be submitted via the Electronic office on the council’s website. More precisely, they must go to the “Application for admission to selective tests (oppositions) of Madrid City Hall” section.

What will the exam look like to become an assistant library technician in Madrid?

The selection system will be governed by opposition media. Which will consist of a single test-type exercise 120 theoretical and practical questions. The theoretical part will consist of 90 questions and 90 minutes will be allocated to complete it. While the practical part will include 30 questions and 60 minutes to complete.

Each question answered correctly will count positively; those left blank will not count and those that are incorrect they will subtract a third of the value of the vouchers. To successfully complete the exercise, you must obtain a minimum score of five points in each part. The final mark will be determined by the result of dividing by two the result of the sum of the marks of the two exams.
