The Turkish government has prepared a draft law on combating foreign influences and it is expected to be adopted soon.
Oku.Az as reported with reference to the agency “Bloomberg”.
The law will aim to combat those who act against the security of the State or its internal and external political interests under the influence or at the request of another country or foreign organization.
Violators face up to seven years in prison.
It should be recalled that a similar law “on foreign agents” was adopted in Georgia on May 14. This event has led to harsh statements from the European Union and the United States.
