“Work will continue to increase the number of charging points. Two 120 kilowatt charging points were installed in front of each existing substation in the liberated territories.”
This was told by Araz Mammadzade, director of the Center for Educational Innovation of OJSC Azerishik, to the “Economy of Azerbaijan” channel “Telegram”.
According to him, taking into account the two-point nature, cars receive power at 40 points.
“In the green energy zone, that is, in Karabakh and eastern Zanguezur, all charging stations are powered by green energy. This is energy from the sun and small hydroelectric power plants. Where it is convenient to buy solar energy or wind energy throughout the country, there are energy charging stations and special constitutions are used for police stations,” said Araz Mammadzade.
In addition, he reported that currently more than 200 charging points and more than 1,000 connection points have been put into operation throughout the country.
Taking into account the increase in the number of electric cars, in the coming years work will continue to increase the number of stations.
