Influenza vaccination for the autumn-winter season has started in Azerbaijan.
According to Xezerxeber.az, certain vaccinations are carried out every year during these months to prevent the spread of influenza. This year, too, citizens flocked to polyclinics to protect themselves from the virus as soon as the vaccine arrived in the country.
Since September 10, the work of vaccination centers in medical institutions under the control of the Trade Union of Management of Territorial Medical Units (TABIB) has been organized in accordance with the rules and taking into account the requirements of the “cold chain” system. The vaccine is intended for adults and children over six months of age.
It should be noted that influenza vaccination is voluntary.
