Sevinj Iskenderova, press secretary of the higher education institution, stated that the problem only affects the first years. He said the scholarships have already been transferred.
“It is not true that the scholarships have not been paid for 3 months. Classes began on September 15. For 15 days starting that month, and also in October, the scholarships for the first courses were not awarded. The reason was related to the preparation of student cards for them. And since the November scholarships do not reach the end of the month, no one has received them yet “The scholarships of a month and a half for the first courses were already transferred 2 or 3 days ago. the cards were ready,” he added.
