The Armenian government has approved the ratification of regulations on border delimitation commissions with Azerbaijan.

On August 30, it was reported that regulations on joint activity of the commissions for delimitation and demarcation of the border between Yerevan and Baku had been signed.
As mentioned in the draft decision, the regulation provides for the organization of delimitation works and the adoption of relevant documents, the preparation of a protocol-description of the crossing of the State border, the development of a delimitation map at an appropriate scale and the work of expert groups.
It is reported that the regulations and documents adopted on their basis will complete the legal basis for ensuring the full progress of the delimitation works.
It should be noted that the regulations on joint activity of border delimitation commissions (regulations) signed on August 30 will soon be sent to the Constitutional Court of Armenia for verification of compliance with the country’s basic law.
