Armenia boycotted the meeting of foreign ministers of the CSTO member countries

Ararat Mirzoyan boycotted the meeting of foreign ministers of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) within the framework of the UN General Assembly.

Oku.Az The Armenian media reported on this.

It should be noted that the representative of Armenia did not participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member countries held on June 21 in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan.

In February 2024, Armenia announced the freezing of its membership in the CSTO and subsequently refused to pay membership dues to the organization. During his speech to the National Assembly on June 12, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not rule out Armenia’s future exit from the CSTO.
