The current authorities of Armenia, headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, have started working as independent employees of the US State Department, political analyst Yervand Bozoyan said this today, September 18, VERELQ reports.
All the propaganda around “real and historical Armenia,” he continued, is a consequence of the implementation of instructions from the US administration.
“They explained to him (Pashinyan) that if Armenia remains in the “old system” of foreign policy relations – Armenia-Iran-Russia, then the current government of Armenia will have no future, it will be judged in the same way as Saakashvili was judged.” – Bozoyan said, adding that the only possibility for the current ruling elite to remain in power is to remove Armenia from the influence of Iran and Russia and transfer the country under the influence of Turkey.
“The American side is not very concerned about whether Armenia will continue to exist or not, being in Turkey’s zone of influence, but guarantees of personal safety are provided to Pashinyan and his family.” – he pointed out.
According to Bozoyan, the United States uses a similar approach everywhere, providing security guarantees to its agents of influence and demanding that those in power be guided not by national interests, but by the interests of the United States.
“We can see the US’s interests in Ukraine, for example. According to official data, the number of victims of the war on both sides has already reached 1 million people. The United States is a great master of organizing clashes between countries to promote its own interests,” the Armenian political scientist stressed.
