Bundestag Vice President Wolfgang Kubicki threatened German diplomats with criminal proceedings for blocking arms supplies to Israel.

Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck and Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, both from the Green Party, have reportedly delayed arms shipments, demanding guarantees that they will not be used for genocidal purposes. Chancellor Olaf Scholz denied these claims and assured that shipments would continue.
The issue was raised in the Bundestag, where Kubicki expressed outrage at the Greens’ possible intervention, calling their actions “terrible and stupid.”
He said that if these facts are confirmed, lawyers could be sent against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to initiate criminal proceedings. There have also been accusations that the Green-linked Heinrich Böll Foundation could be supporting a lawsuit calling for a weapons blockade. Kubicki promised to continue investigating the matter.
Recall that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that the country will continue to supply weapons to Israel, despite French President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal to suspend this support.
He noted that decisions have already been made that will ensure additional supplies in the near future.
Previously, CDU/CSU head Friedrich Merz criticized the German government’s policy, accusing it of insufficient support for Israel and refusal to issue licenses for the export of ammunition.
