Without a doubt, music takes us on a journey, but in this program with Mr. Tropical We do the opposite and travel in search of music. We travel the entire planet in search of the most hidden sounds, the most inaccessible places and we listen to what the music of the North Pole sounds like and we cross deserts, we land on lost islands in all the oceans, we hear the sound of the Siberian tundra, of the Amazon jungle… We know the ghost town in the middle of the Mediterranean which saw the birth of ABBA or the songs of the Arctic which inspired Björk.
We have drawn a sound atlas to discover what the least inhabited places on planet Earth look like, on its surface, but also in the subsoil to sink our teeth into the most subterranean substrate. We travel the world, through the sounds of the most remote places on the planet, with Victor Terrazasauthor of “The Atlas of Distant Sounds”.
And we leave the deserts to go underground with the mythical Otis San Onofre, A specialist in underground music in all its forms.
