The Civil Guard arrested a man in connection with Saturday’s attack against the monks of the Santo Espíritu del Monte monastery (Valencia, Valencia). After jumping the fence, a man brutally attacked seven clerics, shouting “I am Jesus Christ and I will kill you.” He allegedly hit them with a cane, a stick and a glass bottle. In fact, one of the Franciscan friars was initially presumed dead. Later, investigation sources clarified that he was in critical condition.
