Artists from the Balearic Islands and Albania present a joint musical show at the Inca Conservatory

Several young people musicians and choreographers from the Balearic Islands and the University of Arts in Tirana (Albania) They played this Saturday in a joint performance at the Municipal Conservatory of Music Antoni Torrandell d’Inca as part of the IBJove Art Pertot program.

An event in the presence of the Director General of Families, Children, Youth, Equality and Diversity, Farners Saneiroand the director of IBJove, Thomas Amerand which had the collaboration of the Inca Town Hall, as reported this Saturday by the Department of Families and Social Affairs in a press release.

The young artists from the Balearic Islands who participated in this show were winners of the Art Jove 2010 contemporary dance competitions, Juan and Maria del Carmen Taltavull Carreteroand chamber music for soloists from 2018, Magí Garcias. They all gave a masterclass in Tirana last June. On the part of Albania, they participated Sindi Zdrava (pianist), Eles Resuli (ballerina), Lurdi Doggjini (dancer) and Anita Kerhani (soprano).

During the musical performance, pieces by Delibes, Massenet, Schubert, Debussy, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Tonin Harapi, popular music from the islands, among others, as well as choreographies by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot, Arian Sukniqi and Tal were interpreted. Tal Dansa.

It must be remembered that Art Pertot is a program of artistic exchanges in which the IBJove, the Departmental Council of the Pyrenees Orientales, the Catalan Youth Agency participate and to which the University of the Arts of Tirana joined this year.

The participating institutions select young people from their territory to develop artistic projects, which are presented as part of the cultural programs promoted by the other collaborating entities and which are adapted to the needs and contexts of each reception space.
