The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, highlighted this Tuesday that the emergency service of the region was sending “all notices in due time, to all agencies, to all town halls” following the weather forecasts which indicate the passage of a new DANA over the areas affected by that of October 29. This happens more than ten days after no one alerted the population in time of a flood which has already killed more than 200 people.
Mazón stressed that they are “very attentive to the advice of 112”, which he considers “This was clearly expressed at CECOPI, as always.” In this sense, he insisted that “it is important to be aware of the instructions that the 112 gives, in coordination with AEMET, for these days”.
Information that guarantees “It will be in time and in form, as always, as it has always been”Mazón reiterated this once again. Thus, he has already admitted that “this time more, because it is the same zone of influence” of DANA as two weeks ago: “Logically, after what happened, there is particular attention “.
Beyond asking citizens to be aware of these information notices, Mazón avoided responding to any of the latest information known. Concretely, they insisted on the information known this Tuesday in which it is indicated that a few hours before sending the alert on this tragic October 29, it was proposed to confine the population.
