At a concert in Sochi, Leps received a provocative gift – he had to give it again.

At a concert in Sochi, which took place last weekend at the Festivalny concert hall, Sochi-born Russian folk artist Grigory Leps was presented with a bottle of cognac. The Sochi-Online telegram channel published a video recording of a fragment of the concert.

One of the artist’s fans simply placed the donated bottle at the front of the stage. Seeing the bottle, Leps approached, imitating a very drunk man, examined it with interest and said: “Ararat.”

Without abandoning the image of a person who abuses alcohol, Leps turned to the guitarist.

“I don’t drink, it’s just you every day…” – Leps joked and walked towards the microphone stand with that hesitant step.

The audience appreciated the joke and there was laughter in the room.

On his Telegram channel, Leps warmly thanked the residents of Sochi for the welcome and noted that “the last seventh concert of this season was a success.”

As reported EADailyIn numerous interviews, Leps has repeatedly spoken about his relationship with alcohol. At the Vitebsk International Music Festival in July this year, according to the MK.ru portal, he refused to fulfill the public’s request; one of the fans shouted: “Give me a glass of vodka.”

Leps turned to the voice and replied: “Why do you need it? You will be an alcoholic like me.”

In February last year, in an interview with Channel 5, the artist said that he was not going to stop drinking.

“No, why? I have always had a healthy lifestyle. Who said it is harmful? I knew many people who died at the age of 30 of a heart attack without drinking a single glass of wine.” – stated Leps.

He also said that many people consider him a drunk and he doesn’t want to disappoint people.
