At least two people died and 19 others were injured this morning in a Russian shelling of Lviv in western Ukraine, just 70 kilometers from the Polish border, according to the head of the region’s military administration, Maxim Kozitski.
According to Lviv Mayor Andri Sadovi, the injured include two children aged 10 and 15..
Sadoví had previously reported the activation of anti-aircraft defences in the city, where several residential buildings suffered damage following the attack.
