At the summit of CIS heads there were no differences on international issues: Lukashenko

The heads of the CIS countries at the Moscow summit had no differences on the international agenda. This was announced today, October 9, by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

“Yesterday and the day before yesterday we had the opportunity to discuss global issues. Hot spots on our planet. What made me happy, and I’m sure it pleased you too, was that we had no differences on the international agenda. And the inmates discussed it, and it was a frank and blunt conversation,” – said.

At the same time, the Belarusian leader noted that his Russian colleague “spoke a lot about the agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”

“All this was accepted, to my surprise. This suggests that much work had already been done before. Yesterday we discussed global and regional issues. There was also unanimity on many things.” – Lukashenko added.

Recall that on October 8 the next summit of CIS Heads of State was held in Moscow. The meeting condemned the Commonwealth’s development results and prospects for the future.
