In Baku, the bus lane at the intersection of Azadlig Avenue and Mammad Araz Street was canceled.
One of the drivers on the road spoke about it via the Baku.ws “hotline”.
Currently, most drivers are unaware of lane cancellations and only use the left lane, keeping the right lane free. This negatively affects the capacity of the road and causes congestion in certain places.
Tural Orujov, press secretary of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), said that the 200-meter section of bus lanes from Azadlig Avenue to the intersection with Mammad Araz Street was cancelled. In that area, two lanes have been organized on the left and two lanes on the right.
