August becomes the month with the highest electricity bills last year

The electricity bill of a consumer subject to the regulated tariff or Voluntary Small Consumption Price (PVPC) August to be highest since February 2023After this month, the monthly price of electricity on the wholesale market was the most expensive in almost a year.

To find a bill higher than this August, we have to go back to February 2023, when the amount for this average consumer was 64.88 euros, 11.85% more than today. In addition, it will be 42.57% lower than the historical levels of July 2022, when it reached 99.59 euros in the midst of the energy crisis after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On the other hand, the price of gasoline remains at moderate prices, a little over one and a half euros per litre and with a somewhat downward trend this summer.
