Austin called Iran’s attack on Israel an “outrageous act of aggression.”

Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin called Iran’s attack on Israel “an outrageous act of aggression” and said he had a telephone conversation with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant after the attack.

“Today I spoke with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant following Iran’s scandalous act of aggression against Israel. The Minister and I congratulated each other on Israel’s coordinated defense against some 200 ballistic missiles launched by Iran and committed to maintaining close contact. “I also expressed my deepest condolences to the families affected by the horrific and deadly terrorist shooting in Israel.” – says a message on Austin X’s social network page.

Earlier, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Iran fired about 180 missiles at Israel, many of which were intercepted. At the same time, videos on social networks showed falls in different areas of Israel. As a result of the attack on Israeli territory, one person was killed, who was an illegal immigrant from the Gaza Strip. The ambulance service reported several cases of minor shrapnel wounds and injuries on the way to shelters.
