Australia transferred aerial bombs with JDAM-ER, withdrawn from Royal Air Force service, to kyiv. UNIAN reports this with reference to Australian Defense magazine.

JDAM is a GPS navigation kit that converts aerial bombs into guided bombs. It is equipped with an inertial navigation system, a GPS receiver to improve accuracy and wings and a tail unit with controllable fins to correct course.
The JDAM-ER version, created in the 2000s by the Defense Science and Technology Group with Boeing and Ferra Engineering, can hit targets at a distance of more than 72 km when launched from a high altitude.
